Hi friends! To interrupt our regular Friday posts, today comes with some glorious news. Ty and I are expecting our first child! I'm due in early October, and we couldn't be more thrilled. We are so excited to start growing this family of ours. I'm 16 weeks now, and it feels good to finally have some energy back and feel a semblance of normal / non-nauseousness most of the day. I'm definitely not one of those lucky ones who gets to skip the whole feeling sick business of the first trimester. Thankfully though, I think I got off a little easier than some girls.
Just four more weeks and we will be finding out the gender. Eeeeps! At the beginning of the pregnancy, for some unknown reason, I was sure it was a girl. Hands down. But lately I've been leaning more towards boy. But, let's be honest, I really have 100% no idea. So I guess we will just have to wait with bated breath for the words of the all-knowing ultra-sounder. What I do know is that this sweet little bean has a happy little heartbeat and squirms around like crazy, and I couldn't be more content.

Don't forget I need to know what color you want for your crocheted baby blanket. And I'll make burp cloths etc - just let me know.
