Today at work I got paid to draw/create a heart (the human-organ kind) out of fruit. Here's the end product, composed of strawberries, prickly pear cactus, pineapple, apple, pomegranate, blueberry, acai berry and raspberries. I thought it was silly enough that I should share :) If anyone needs any other organs made out of produce, you just let me know.

Thanks for posting this! I'm sad I don't get to see your work anymore... Anything I get nowadays is just a Word document! How are things going at the SC?
Nicki Schmidt, I think this cements the fact that you are one of the best graphic designers ever. I will have to keep that in mind next time I need a super cool, awesome designer. I will have to start saving for the retainer, because you must be expensive (strictly due to the quality of your work).
This is perfect Nicki--I start my human anatomy class tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure I can use this as a study guide! :P
Wow Nicki - so accurate. Maybe we should be taking a new direction with the whole organ transplant thing. I'm pretty sure you could get government funding for your research. Think about it.
